The club are set to hit the road for some tough fixtures
The international break is almost over and Barcelona return to action with something of a bang, facing three tricky away fixtures in a row, that will prove a real test.
Ernesto Valverde’s side are, of course, unbeaten and top of the table but Valencia are just four points behind, and may have the chance to leapfrog them when the two sides meet at Mestalla on November 26.
Here’s a look at Barca’s next three fixtures
Leganes v Barcelona - 18 November
Barcelona head to Leganes on Saturday and although Asier Garitano’s side have lost their last two (against Sevilla and Valencia) they’ve still had a great start to the season.
They go into the game in ninth, but just two points behind Sevilla in sixth and have beaten Alaves, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Malaga and Athletic Bilbao this season.
Atletico Madrid could only draw 0-0 in Leganes and Saturday’s hosts have conceded just two goals at home all season (in a 2-1 defeat to Getafe back in September).
Barca will still be big favourites but after international week, where players have been all over the world, this will be a big test.
Juventus v Barcelona - 22 November
Just four days later and Barca are on the road again, heading to Turin in the Champions League.
Barca will need no reminding of their last trip to Turin and will hope to improve on what was a fairly disastrous showing.
Valverde’s men are three points clear of Juve at the top of Group D but only need a draw to go through as group winners.
Valencia v Barcelona - 26 November
Barcelona conclude a busy week with a trip to Mestalla which, with both sides currently unbeaten in La Liga, should be a real doozy of a match.
Valencia have been superb this season and will give Barcelona a real test, particularly with Simone Zaza and Rodrigo in top form.
Goncalo Guedes and Geoffrey Kondogbia have also been impressive and with two unbeaten records set to clash, you feel something has to give.
