The youngster has spoken out about his future
Denis Suarez has given a revealing interview with Mundo Deportivo where he has once again reiterated his desire to stay at Camp Nou but fears the club could let him go.
The rumors surrounding Denis’s future have started up again recently, we brought you news only yesterday of interest from Napoli.
With the transfer window set to reopen in January, we can probably expect those rumors to continue, particularly if Denis spends more time on the bench.
The 23-year-old has made six La Liga appearances for Barca this season with two goals and two assists, but does not appear to have fully earnt Ernesto Valverde’s trust just yet.
However, he is clear where his future lies:
“I do not want to leave here, I've said it for a long time. My teammates encouraged me to continue in the summer and I do not intend to move from here, I want to succeed at Barça.
“I have the feeling, I do not know if on the part of the club, that whatever I do I am exposed in the market. I have rejected those proposals, so the rumors that come out do not come from me, I have not heard any offers.
“If it's true that I said I was not going to move, I was very clear before the season started, but every time the transfer market approaches, it seems that they put me on the market, when I never said that I want to go. I am willing to succeed here, because I consider myself at home and I think my style fits a lot in this club.”

Denis also talked about the clause that means Barca have to pay Manchester City for every 10 games, which could end up being as much as €8 million but says it is a “low price.
The message from Denis is clear, and generally when he has been used this season he has offered some badly needed creativity and invention, but is the feeling mutual?
