The defender will miss the trip to Mestalla
Gerard Pique is set to miss next weekend’s top of the table clash with Valencia after being booked against Leganes.
The defender was shown the yellow card after just 28 minutes, his fifth of the season which brings about an automatic one-match ban.

With Javier Mascherano out injured that leaves Ernesto Valverde really short of options against a Valencia side that have enjoyed a superb start to the season.
Thomas Vermaelen looks the most likely choice to come in and partner Samuel Umtiti although Valverde could also possibly look to Lucas Digne, Sergio Busquets or David Costas from the B team.
