More good news for FC Barcelona: Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitić has agreed to extend his contract until June 2021. The buyout clause will be 125 million euros.
The Croatian came from Sevilla in Luis Enrique’s first year and established himself as an important cog in the treble-winning season. He scored the opening goal in Barcelona’s 3-1 victory over Juventus in the final just a year after winning the Europa League with Sevilla.
Rakitić has 145 official appearances under Lucho, scoring 23 goals.
