A pretty crazy game ends with a pretty good win for Barça
Barcelona returned to the winning ways in La Liga thanks to a 3-2 win against Valencia at Camp Nou on Sunday. The game was crazy for a while, but in the end the Blaugrana picked up three vital points against a tough opponent and stay close to Real Madrid at the top of the table. Title race still on.
FIRST HALF
The first 30 minutes of the game were quite dull, with a few chances here and there but nothing major to talk about. And then the match turned into a show of insanity, with four goals and a red card. Eliaquim Mangala scored and was sent off during that period, in which Barça came back to turn the result around thanks to Luis Suárez and Lionel Messi, but Barça loanee Munir El-Haddadi equalized just before halftime.
At halftime, a 2-2 draw that came out of nowhere, and Barça had 45 minutes to find a winner against 10 men.
SECOND HALF
Barça started the second half on top of 10-man Valencia, pressuring the visitors and forcing goalkeeper Diego Alves into some great saves. But Alves couldn't keep the score tied for much longer and Barça found the third goal when Messi fired a rocket into the bottom corner to put the hosts ahead.
With Valencia having to chase a goal with a man down, the match became quite comfortable for Barça, and the Catalans created many, many good chances to increase their lead, and it wasn't until the last minute of the game that they got their fourth when Neymar found André Gomes, who scored his first goal for the club and confirmed the victory.
