Six teams Barcelona could face ahead of Friday's Copa del Rey Round of 32 draw

The Spanish Cup Last 32 will be drawn this week, and here's the list of potential opponents for Barça

The 2016/17 edition of the Copa del Rey won't start until November for the first division teams, but the Round of 32 draw will take place this Friday and Barcelona have a list of six potential opponents.

According to Spanish Federation rules, the La Liga teams playing in the Champions League or Europa League that season cannot face another first division side before the quarterfinals, which means Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, Sevilla, Athletic Bilbao and Celta Vigo can only face teams from the Segunda B (Spain's third division) or the Tercera División (the fourth level of Spainsh football) in the Last 32.

The rule is design to protect the top teams in the country, assuring that all of them arrive safely in the Round of 16. That rule makes the Round of 32 matches incredibly boring without any kind of appeal, and with the Spanish Cup being contested in two legs in all round except the final, the chances of a La Liga team being upset by a lower division side in the early stages are minimal. Unless you play Cheryshev, of course.

Anwyay, this is the list of teams that Barça could be drawn against on Friday:

Guijuelo (Segunda B)

Toledo (Segunda B)

Hercules (Segunda B)

Cultural Leonesa (Segunda B)

Racing Santander (Segunda B)

Formentera (Tercera División)
