FC Barcelona have a challenging week ahead as they first travel to Manchester City in midweek before visiting Sevilla at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán. Fresh off the back of their 1-0 win over Granada on Saturday, the team are now looking to refocus their attention to European commitments with a tough test away to Pep Guardiola’s side for Matchday 4 of the Champions League.

FC Barcelona travel to Manchester early on Monday morning and will do so with 17 first team players and three from the B team. The big news is the return of Arda Turan who has recovered from the injury he picked up during the Catalunya Super Cup against Espanyol, and is now ready for selection.

The players are on their way to England for Tuesday night’s Champions League encounter with Manchester City. The anecdote was that Barça B player Marlon, who is joining the squad for the trip, left his passport at home and will instead have to catch a later flight!
