When Claudio Bravo was drifting off to sleep last night he was likely envisioning how his return to the Camp Nou would go. After three years of wearing the Blaugrana, Bravo was recruited to Manchester City by Pep Guardiola to become their new No. 1 goalkeeper to replace the incumbent Joe Hart.
Bravo likely didn’t foresee his return going like this. A 4-0 loss saw him get roasted on a 1v1 with his former teammate Lionel Messi and get set off for a comical sequence of events that ended with him intentionally handling the ball 40 yards away from goal.
Barcelona fans had fun with their former goalkeeper’s rough day after the match on social media. Neymar posted a video of the famed ‘MSN’ front line with Messi holding the match ball after netting a hat trick:

Some jokester on Twitter decided to photoshop Bravo’s head in-place of the ball as if Messi had claimed on the opening goal:

It’s a pretty humorous end to a great day for Barcelona and a miserable one for Claudio Bravo.
