Barcelona players, Luis Enrique react to La Liga win against Valencia, dedicate victory to Andrés Iniesta

Lots of activity on social media, and lots of love for the captain

Barcelona had a very tough, intense, emotional match against Valencia on Saturday, but the La Liga champions pulled off a fantastic comeback to win the game 3-2 and go above Atlético Madrid in the table, at least for a few hours before the Colchoneros play their match.

The Blaugrana didn't play their best football and suffered more than necessary, but the added drama of a 94th minute game-winner from Lionel Messi made this win very sweet. Coach Luis Enrique was very proud of his team in his post-match presser:

“It was a game packed with tension and intensity. We dominated at first and could have been leading by a lot more. Then in five manic minutes the game got away from us, but luckily we got back level and mounted a comeback … Towards the end of the game the team showed that they are very much alive.

“Messi took the responsibility at the very best time and it was a glorious moment.

“The way this game panned out says so much about this team, and they showed character right until the end. This was one of those days where collective effort shone through – the players showed how good they are at overcoming adversities.”

Sergio Busquets spoke to the media after the match, and he also sent his best wishes to the captain:

The big takeaway from all of this is: this team is really close, and Iniesta is loved by absoutely everyone. Amazing. Not surprising, but still amazing.
