The striker is eyeing a place in the final

Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite is preparing for a Euro 2020 semi-final against England at Wembley Stadium and seems in pretty confident mood ahead of the big clash.

The Denmark international has posted a message to fans on Twitter that reads: “Time to get the job done. Thanks for the support everyone. You are with us all the way.”

The Denmark team has shown plenty of unity, belief and courage to make it to the last four after a traumatic opening match during which Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest.

There’s no doubt they are the tournament’s dark horses but certainly can’t be ruled out after some strong displays and the impressive team spirit the players have shown.

Denmark are due to play England in front of a packed Wembley on Wednesday after an impressive 2-1 win over Czech Republic in the quarter-finals.

Yet England also looked good in the last round. Gareth Southgate’s side comfortably saw off Ukraine 4-0 and will also have home advantage on Wednesday night.

Denmark have been allocated 6,000 tickets for the match and have also urged supporters to send in shirts and flags to help Danish expats at the match cheer the team on.
