The defender has plenty of admirers
Barcelona’s Sergiño Dest is becoming a bigger and bigger name in world football. The American full-back made his name with the national team and has shown he has the talent to hang with the best in the world at Barcelona.
The 20-year-old featured regularly in his first season with Barcelona after moving from Ajax in October and will be hoping to cement his spot in 2021-22. However, there will be increased competition for places with Emerson Royal having arrived.
Yet Dest has shown his commitment to the club in recent weeks by turning down offers of more money elsewhere in football. Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund, and Monaco have all reportedly made offers to Dest that would increase his salary significantly.
However, despite the allure of more money in his pocket, Dest has refused and appears to want to fight for more playing time at Barcelona. Gotta respect the desire out of him.
