There is no professional structure in the winger’s life, he claims
Ousmane Dembélé has come under fire for another muscular injury that some claim is due to poor training and nutritional habits. And his former personal chef, Mickael Naya, has even suggested Dembélé’s life is out of control.
“Ousmane is a nice kid, but he does not have his life in his hands,” says the cook.
“He lives his uncle and his best friend, who don’t dare tell him anything. It’s a bumpy life. I have never seen alcohol, but he does not respect the times for scheduled rest at all, there is no high level structure around it,” the chef said in an interview with Le Parisien.
“Ousmane and his entourage tell themselves that, in any case, they will be criticized no matter what happens,” the chef says, adding that they are so rich, they simply don’t care.
Naya also claims that he started to organize meals according to upcoming matches and periods of recovery and initially it went well, resulting in some of Dembélé’s best moments in a Barcelona shirt.
In addition, the chef said that when the winger is “without his friends, Ousmane is completely different. He is curious, open and educated.“
However, a problem with his agent broke the relationship, according to the newspaper. That meant Naya was no longer involved with the winger.
“I tried to reach out to him, but he’s under someone else’s influence,” Naya stated.
