Barcelona are said to be looking at Alaba, Kimmich, De Jong, De Ligt and Tagliafico
Barcelona Scout Bayern-Ajax
Barcelona’s top two men when it comes to transfer dealings, Pep Segura and Éric Abidal, are in Germany to watch Bayern Munich take on Ajax at the Allianz Arena. According to Mundo Deportivo, besides looking at known targets like Frenkie de Jong and Matthis de Ligt, Barça are scouting two Bayern players: Joshua Kimmich and David Alaba. In addition, Barça scouted Ajax and Argentina left-back Nicolás Tagliafico. However, any one of these players could end up costing the team quite a lot of money to sign, so clearly not all of them will come.
Rabiot Turns Down Renewal Once Again
Paris United reports that Adrien Rabiot has once again turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain to extend his contract, the third time he’s done so. The Parisians reportedly offered a salary of 7.2 million euro plus bonuses, but the midfielder turned them down. One part of the issue is that he has what some call a complicated relationship with the sporting director, Antero Henrique. Paris United says Rabiot still prioritizes staying at PSG, and Mundo Deportivo reports that one way the Parisians will attempt to convince him to stay is by talking up the project led by their new coach, Thomas Tuchel.
