FC Barcelona will begin their Copa del Rey title defense in the province of León where they will take on Segunda Division B side Cultural Leonesa. Provisional dates for the Round of 32 matches are 31 October and 5 December, but the exact dates and times will be made official at a later time, after consultation with television rights holders. The first leg will be played at Reino de León stadium with the return match being played in Barcelona.
The draw for the Round of 16 will be made at a later date, which has not yet been confirmed, but the games of the round will be played in the first two weeks of January. The date of the Final is set for 25 May 2019, but much debate will surely come when discussing where it will be played.
