Barça are right back into action at the Basque Country
The Anoeta Curse is broken, and Barcelona had a very successful trip to the Basque Country last Thursday, beating Real Sociedad at the Stadium of Hell and getting a big result in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals. Just three days later, Barça are back in action, in another competition, but in the same region of Spain.
Trips to the Basque Country are never easy, be it against Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad, or in the case of Barça's opponent on Sunday, Eibar. Los Armeros are the least famous member of the Basque teams in La Liga, but they're just as tough as Athletic or La Real. It's a well organized side who plays well at home, and they can cause problems to anyone, in any game.
Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez and Neymar will have to cope with absence of injured captain Andrés Iniesta, but still have enough firepower around them to leave the Basque Country with a second key victory in three days. It won't be easy, but it will be fun.
Don't miss it.
