Two more Barcelona stars injured in international duty, doubtful for next week's matches

COME ON, FIFA VIRUS, LEAVE US ALONE!

The FIFA Virus is not playing around in October, and two more Barcelona players have been infected.

After full-back Jordi Alba suffered a hamstring injury during Spain's match with Italy that ruled him out for the next 10 days, it was time for two other Blaugrana to get hurt. And the weirdest part is: they got injured in training, which just shows that the FIFA Virus is unforgiving.

First, Barça right-back Sergi Roberto did not train with his Spain teammates in the last training session before the World Cup European Qualifier against Albania on Sunday, which Roberto was expected to start. Manager Julen Lopetegui didn't rule him out of the game in his pre-match press conference, but multiple reports say that Real Madrid's Dani Carvajal will remain the starting right-back, with Roberto staying on the bench and then returning to Barcelona for further tests on Monday to discover the full extent of his injury, which is unknown at the moment.

Netherlands and Barça goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen was the other Saturday casualty, spraining his ankle during pre-training warm-ups. Cillessen didn't take part in the rest of the training session, and will probably not play on Monday's match against France (which he wasn't expected to start anyway).

Thankfully both cases are reportedly not serious and the players will be available for the Champions League match against Manchester City. Both are doubtful for the La Liga match against Deportivo La Coruña next Saturday, and Roberto will probably get a rest to be fully healthy for Pep Guardiola's visit to Camp Nou.

Please stop, FIFA Virus. That's enough.
