Jordi Alba, Arda Turan rejoin team training, set to return for Atlético Madrid match

Great news for Barcelona as the Blaugrana prepare for a gigantic La Liga encounter with Atlético Madrid.

Full-back Jordi Alba, who missed the last ten days -- or three matches -- with a hamstring injury, and midfielder Arda Turan, who missed the midweek Cup game against Athletic Bilbao with a fever, both rejoined the team's training session on Thursday and Friday in preparation for the Camp Nou match against the Colchoneros. The two practiced normally in both days, without setbacks in Alba's case especially, and are available for selection for Saturday's key fixture.

The only key doubt for Saturday is Neymar Jr., who left the pitch after the Bilbao game with a knock on his right foot. Tests revealed no injury, but it was a tough knock to deal with. He did plenty of treatment and practiced with his teammates, but there is no official word yet on his status for the Atleti game. Given the magnitude of the match, however, it is hard to picture Neymar not playing through some pain in his foot.

Coach Luis Enrique will certainly be happy to see that his squad is healthy and available for the biggest match of the season so far.
