Barcelona are up a goal and now a man on Atletico Madrid after Brazilian defender, Filipe Luis, was sent off for this ridiculously bad tackle on Lionel Messi. Frustrated by blowing a lead to the Blaugrana, the Atleti player's rough play has finally cost them.

A high challenge and no attempt at the ball is a clear intent to hurt a player. A red card was rightfully shown. Thankfully Lionel Messi escaped serious injuty.

There's just no room for that in the sport. Luis should receive a lengthy ban.
