Lionel Messi spoke about Argentina’s last 16 clash with France after Jorge Sampaoli’s side qualified for the knockout stages with a win against Nigeria on Tuesday.
The Barcelona star scored his first goal of 2018 World Cup to open the scoring and will now face Les Bleus for a place in the quarter-finals.
“We have watched every single France game. We follow every game. France is a very good team with skilled individual players,” he said.
“They have very fast players who can really make a difference. I know what we will have to do. It will be a very tough game, no doubt.”
