Can Barça get back to winning ways and stay on top of the table for another week?
Barcelona are back in league action on Sunday night looking to maintain a four-point lead at the top of La Liga and keep a healthy advantage over Valencia, Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid who have been chasing the leaders since the start of the season.
The invincible Barça from the start of the season is starting to have some problems, especially defensively, and the free-scoring attack of August and September is now struggling to create chances, let alone find the back of the net.
Tonight they play a historically tough fixture, away to Villarreal. The Yellow Submarine are once again having a strong season and are fighting for European places like always, and they love to cause the Blaugrana problems when playing them at the El Madrigal.
Saturday’s results put a lot of pressure on Barça to get the three points at a tough ground and stay on top of La Liga for another week. When you have Lionel Messi on your team, you can get three points in any game, but Messi needs help from the rest of the team to win such a difficult match.
This will be tough, but it might turn out to be really fun as well. It’s a big game for Barça, Messi is playing, and you just cannot miss it. Seriously.
