The boss is looking forward to facing the Blues
Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde has given his verdict after his side were drawn against Chelsea in the Champions League last 16 draw.
There’s plenty of history between the two sides in this competition and it’s one of the tougher draws Barcelona could have got.
The club will play the first leg at Stamford Bridge before welcoming Chelsea to Camp Nou for the second leg, and Valverde is looking forward to it.
"It's a tough tie for us because of the quality of our oponents but we knew nothing would be easy," he said.
"There were some big teams in the draw and we got one of the toughest ones.
"They are the current Premier League champions. We are excited because it will be a great tie to play in.
“It will be a tough tie but it will be attractive as well, for everybody, for the fans and the players.
“They are a physical team, very strong. with a tactical system, that they have worked on a lot.
[Conte] is a coach who has had a lot of success in the past. He's won trophies with Chelsea and Juventus.
“I get the feeling he's a methodical coach, very tactically minded, very organised, from what i have seen of the team. I have no doubt that they will be analysing us in the coming months to prepare for the game. I'm looking forward to it.”

The tie will also see Barcelona take on a couple of familiar faces in Pedro and Cesc Fabregas while Lionel Messi will, rather unbelievably, be hoping to score against Chelsea for the first time in his career.
