Barça have a big European game tonight, and you cannot miss it
The last UEFA Champions League match of 2017 has arrived for Barcelona, and the Blaugrana welcome Portuguese powerhouse Sporting to the Camp Nou for the final game of the group stage.
Barça are already through to the Round of 16 and will finish the night as group winners regardless of what happens in this game, but they absolutely must get a win here. A draw isn’t enough, and a loss is terrible.
With three draws in the last four matches and a few terrible performances recently, the Catalan giants need a strong European win against a good opponent to show they’re still great.
Ernesto Valverde has been under immense criticism from fans and pundits for his somewhat negative tactics and the poor results in recent weeks, and the coach needs a big win tonight to prove he’s good enough for the job once the knockout stages of the Champions League begin.
