Barça play a big league match today, and you cannot miss it
La Liga leaders Barcelona are back in action today! The Blaugrana welcome Celta Vigo to the Camp Nou for what promises to be a very tough game for the Catalan giants, and this is one you cannot miss.
There are a few things to look for ahead of this game: former Barça assistant coach Juan Carlos Unzué is coming back to Camp Nou for the first time after leaving the club in the summer. Unzué was rumored to become Barça manager, but he wasn’t chosen and decided to join Celta.
Unzué has done very well at Celta, getting his team to play an exciting, entertaining style of football focused on possession and constant pressure. They score a lot of goals, but they also concede a lot of goals, which means that games involving Celta Vigo are must-watch football.
Another thing to keep an eye on is whether Barça will immediately return to winning ways following that fantastic game against Valencia last week that ended in a 1-1 draw. While the result wasn’t bad away at the Mestalla, the Catalans cannot afford to drop points again as Valencia and the Madrid clubs will be looking to take advantage of any slip-ups from Barça.
Lionel Messi will be starting after getting a rest in the midweek Copa del Rey game against Real Murcia, and Leo will surely be looking to find the back of the net against a team that tends to concede a lot. This game will be fun and maybe full of goals, and you HAVE to watch it.
