HEARTBREAKER
Barcelona and Real Madrid played to a 1-1 draw in Saturday's El Clásico at Camp Nou, with Luis Suárez and Sergio Ramos scoring the goals in a very intense football match in the Catalan capital. Both teams put in a lot of work, and it's fiar to say both teams deserved a point.
FIRST HALF
The first half had one penalty for each side not called by the referee, very little creatvity and a lot of defense and hard fouls from both teams. The football wasn't good, and it's fair to say Madrid were a little better in what they wanted to do, which was trouble Barça's passing and be incisive and quick to get to the goal. They were marginally on top, though, and Barça were right on this and could win it in the second half.
SECOND HALF
The final period was completely controlled by Barcelona, who kept the ball and dominated the action, not letting Madrid have any chances to trouble the Blaugrana defense. Andrés Iniesta came on and changed the game, putting his stamp of magical passes and ability to dictate the tempo and control the play. Neymar was very good and he put in a perfect cross to Luis Suárez, who headed home the opener and put the hosts ahead.
Madrid made offensive substitutions and had some dangerous crosses into the box, and in the last minute Sergio Ramos tied the score to rescue a huge point for Madrid.
