Even though Bravo didn’t have to make a single save, he still managed to cause some minor heart-attacks among Barcelona fans, channeling his inner Marc-Andre ter Stegen, making a few "interesting" plays off the line. Bravo tackled a guy near his right sideline, missed a corner kick punch-out and tested Getafe’s long-range shooting skills by clearing the ball to a Getafe player 40 yards from his line. Apart from that he was very calm in goal, making a few good reads and actually started the counter attack that led to Neymar’s goal with a long throw to Roberto. |

Talk about a bad game. Once all midfielders return to fitness and Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan get registered, there is absolutely no reason for the Brazilian to start meaningful games for Barcelona. His defending was poor, highlighted by his casual jog back to the defensive zone while all of his teammates were scrambling around because everybody had to shift positions because there was nobody covering the right-back spot. In attack he wasn’t much better as he ended countless attacks with bad passes, with his crosses again being the worst part of his game. |

Mathieu wasn’t tested as much as Pique was, but he was alert throughout the game and rarely put a foot wrong. On multiple occasions he was forced to showcase his speed, which for a center back is well above average, as he had to deal with a few long balls over the defensive line. The Frenchman even got to showcase his free-kick taking abilities, testing the goalkeeper but was unable to find the back of the net. |

Pique’s return to form continued with a strong showing against Getafe, even if it started quite badly, with a nutmeg by Pablo Sarabia for a good chance for the hosts. But that was about the only blemish on the night for the Spaniard who had to deal with constant abuse from the home crowd. Pique was a clearing machine, sending just about everything in his vicinity away from danger. |

Of the two Barcelona full-backs on the pitch, Alba was by far the better one, even though he himself made quite a few poor passes that ended promising attacks. He combined excellently with Neymar on the left side to provide width, but when in space Alba was often unable to get the cross past the first defender in front of him. Alba’s biggest "mistake" came midway through the second half when he was faced with a one-on-one with the opposing goalkeeper, but couldn’t get the ball past him. Defensively Alba wasn’t tested much, but when he was tested he mostly passed the test with flying colors. |

His passing was brilliant, completing the most of any player on the field and only Jeremy Mathieu had a better accuracy than him. His defensive work was also great, making three tackles and two interceptions which helped Barcelona to keep their first clean sheet in a long time. |

Another game and another quiet performance from Rakitić. Now, at the end of October, it is worrying that he has failed to get into his consistent rhythm of last season. As usual, the Croatian put in a solid defensive performance but he was again lacking on an offensive front. He really struggled to create chances or get into a position to create chances throughout the match and overall did have much of an influence on the game. With Roberto’s increase in form and Iniesta’s return from injury, you have to wonder if Rakitić’s place is always assured. |

Probably the best player on the field, Roberto has come a long way since his days of providing little influence on a game. He was popping up everywhere, looking to create chances and he did in fact assist both goals of the game. His first was a glorious pirouette back heel flick into the path of Suárez while his second was a cross field pass that landed on a plate for Neymar. Great match and he is has now solidified his place in the midfield hierarchy. |

Ah, Munir. He wasn’t horrible, but he wasn’t great either. His performance was fairly inconsistent, and he wasn’t very useful in attack. But of course, if he isn’t useful in attack, he isn’t doing his job. Munir did score a goal, but the forces of the universe declared that it would be offside. Still, it was a reasonably good finish, and he deserves some credit. But he was substituted off unsurprisingly after all (though it wasn’t Sandro; Iniesta took his place this time around) and was fairly useless overall. |

Suarez had a good performance against Getafe; he scored the first goal with an assist from Sergi Roberto in the 37th minute. His finish was beautiful. Throughout the game though, Suarez did have some Lord moments, though the time he spends scoring goals and being a minor legend does make up for it. Fortunately, Suarez is becoming more consistent, and is definitely showing improvement in the absence of Messi. |

Neymar was awesome and had a great game overall against Getafe. He finished of a spectacular assist from Sergi Roberto beautifully to make a wonderful goal in the 58th minute. Neymar has been brilliant in Messi’s absence, and is even playing a little bit like Messi here and there. He is turning into the key creator of the team and obviously has more maturity. Overall, Neymar is doing very well and was great. |

In general, Barca played well, and had a great performance. |
