The next Barcelona match is upon us! The biggest game of this young season has arrived, as the Blaugrana travel to Madrid for a much anticipated, pivotal La Liga clash against their rivals, Real Madrid. The outcome of this match will have serious implications in the title race, and coach Luis Enrique will have his best man available.
Lionel Messi has made the cut and is in the squad list for Saturday, after successfully recovering from a knee injured sustained two months ago. The Argentine superstar took part in the full training sessions both on Thursday and Friday without any setbacks, and is ready for battle. Another important injury doubt is also set to play: midfielder Ivan Rakitic, who suffered a slight calf strain a few weeks ago, has also recovered in time and is available for selection.
With all but two first team players healthy, Barça B youngsters are not on the list, with Gerard Gumbau being dropped for the first time since the season's start. These are the eighteen men named by coach Enrique for the game:
