The Catalans drew 4-4 at Villarreal
Luis Suarez says Barcelona’s comeback against Villarreal shows just how much they want to win La Liga this season.
The champions were trailing 4-2 with 90 minutes on the clock when Lionel Messi pulled one back with a free-kick and then Suarez rifled home a stoppage-time equaliser.
“In the first half, we played a great game. We deserved to be winning but we were aware that they had chances,” he said.
”In the second half, we knew that anything we gave away would be seized on because they have fast players, and that is exactly what they did.
”But the spirit of the team right until the end to not give up, I believe, shows how much we want to win this league.”

The result means Barcelona’s lead at the top of the table has been cut to eight points ahead of Saturday’s visit from second-placed Atletico Madrid.
