Locals joke that Philippe Coutinho’s house is jinxed as the player struggles to fully adapt

Fàbregas, Vermaelen, Gomes, and now Coutinho have all live

ESPN reports that locals around Castelldefels joke that Philippe Coutinho’s house is cursed. The town is located near Barcelona, and the home has previously housed Cesc Fàbregas, Thomas Vermaelen, and André Gomes while they played for FC Barcelona.

Fàbregas had an uneven spell at Barça, alternating between moments of brilliance and moments of pure inconsistency. Vermaelen didn’t play in his first season with Barcelona due to injury. He eventually returned to the team after a loan spell at AS Roma. Gomes had a very difficult time adapting after his move from Valencia and is now at Everton.

Coutinho is in his first full season at Barcelona after a record-breaking transfer from Liverpool. He has struggled to find his best form

Reports say that Barcelona might be open to selling him if a good enough offer comes through. But for the moment, his teammates are on his side and the player is being asked to do his best in order to turn his season around.
