The forward responded to recent claims
Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele fired back at a fan on Twitter linking his personal chef to his current hamstring injury. Dembele’s current injury came against Rayo, and was then made much worse in a substitute appearance against Lyon this week in the Champions League.
“I know that he had a personal chef who gave him a balanced diet that protected him from injuries, but he got rid of him two months ago,” Twitter post from random person.
“You don’t know anything at all,” replied Ousmane Dembele.

The entire “saga” if you want to call it that is entirely ridiculous, but made entirely legitimate because of Dembele’s response. The most famous instance of a professional player responding on Twitter and making ridiculous claims mainstream is the NBA’s Kevin Durant. Something about players in the social media age make them want to respond to illegitimate claims on social media, hence validating the claim and turning up the volume.
