Real Madrid defender Marcelo has labelled Tuesday's Group A showdown against Paris St Germain "a final". The sides drew 0-0 in Paris two weeks ago and neither has conceded a goal in their opening three games. They head into the encounter at the Bernabeu level on seven points and at the top of the pool.

Mourinho and Blues midfielder Eden Hazard have been linked with Real Madrid by both the English and Spanish press, following a run of three wins from Chelsea's opening 11 Premier League matches. Reports in the British media have talked up a possible return to Manchester United for Ronaldo, while Sky Sports' Guillem Balague has suggested PSG as a potential next destination. Since moving to Spain, he has been smashing goalscoring records, netting 326 goals in just 313 appearances.

Espanyol set for Rastar Group takeover - ESPN FC
A Chinese company has announced that it is to buy a majority stake in Espanyol and then invest up to €45 million. The Rastar Group is set to buy a 56 percent stake in Espanyol after reaching an agreement in principle with the largest shareholders of the Spanish club, Daniel Sanchez Llibre and Ramon Condal.
