Following Sunday's defeat against Fiorentina in Italy, Barcelona coach Luis Enrique was not in a super happy mood.
Although his team did dominate most of the match and created numerous chances, the players lacked accuracy on the shots and due to another bad defensive night, especially in the game's first 20 minutes, the Blaugrana conceded easy goals and were unable to come back again, finishing a poor International Champions Cup campaign with just one win in four games.
Speaking to the media after the match, Enrique mentioned the lack of concentration at the start, and the tough times converting chances. While he did compliment his team for creating plenty of opportunities, he seemed concerned with the players not giving their best effort despite of this being a friendly, and he hopes that the players can learn the lesson.
Here's a few highlights of his press conference:
"Fiorentina kept the ball well and they have potential.
"There are plenty of aspects of the game that I liked. We lacked effectiveness in front of goal but we did create a host of chances.
"[There are] things to improve. This has to serve as a stimulus for the team. We are very good if we are at 100% but if we are not then we are not so good.
"When an opponent gets the better of you in a game, normally they close off the space inside and force you wide. We worked that situation well and we were able to get into their box. We just needed to score.
European Super Cup
"When the game finishes at the Super Cup we will know whether we were in good shape for the match. At the moment we are in pre-season and it would be dangerous for the players to be at 100%. That is not our objective at the moment, it needs to be progressive."
Iniesta’s problem
"Iniesta came off because he had a slight problem and the doctors will tell us what it is, even though it is nothing serious."
