FC Barcelona has decided to appeal the yellow cards shown by referee Carlos del Cerro Grande to Ivan Rakitic (43’), Thomas Vermaelen (63’) and Luis Suárez (74') in Sunday’s match against Athletic Club. The club considers the reasons outlined in the referee’s report inadmissible and has therefore appealed to the Competition Committee.
