Finally some good news
Frenkie de Jong was back in full training with Barcelona on Monday as Xavi turned his attentions towards the team’s next game against Rayo.
Barcelona have been rocked by news that Gavi’s out for the season today, but there has been a glimmer of good news with De Jong looking ready to return.
Xavi has previously said that De Jong should be fit to face Rayo and it looks as though he is definitely on schedule to make his comeback from an ankle injury.

De Jong’s return will certainly provide some cheer amid the gloom caused by Gavi’s season-ending injury.
Xavi will also be hoping the rest of his internationals return unscathed fro international duty this week.
There’s also been good news on goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The stopper dropped out of Germany’s two friendlies but is also expected to be fit to face Rayo.
