Rumors: Van de Beek, Coutinho and Malcom latest

A look at the latest transfer gossip

Barcelona keen on Van de Beek

Today’s rumors start with news that Barcelona are keen on signing talented young midfielder Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

Not content with bringing in Frenkie de Jong (and potentially Matthijs de Ligt), Barcelona have now set their sights on a third Ajax star, according to Mundo Deportivo.

They are not the only club interested in the 22-year-old. Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be admirers of the midfielder.

Barcelona think Chelsea will bid for Coutinho

Over at Goal the word is that Barcelona are expecting Chelsea to bid for Philippe Coutinho, despite the fact that the Blues are actually banned from signing players currently.

Apparently there’s a chance the Court of Arbitration for Sport could delay the ban, and if so Coutinho could interest in the Blues if they need a replacement for Eden Hazard.

The Brazilian would rather stay at the Camp Nou, but there are apparently plenty in the Barca boardroom who would be willing to sell if a decent offer came in.

Lille want Malcom for Champions League campaign

Ligue 1 side Lille have qualified for next season’s Champions League, and they want to bring in Malcom to help them compete in Europe’s top competition.

Mundo Deportivo report that the club could lose star man Nicolas Pepe and could turn to Malcom as a potential replacement.

Lille are said to be big fans of Malcom, and he has a pretty good reputation in France from his time at Bordeaux.

Rafa Mujica to join Leeds United

And finally we end with news that Barcelona B striker Rafa Mujica is set to join Leeds United at the end of the season when his contract with the Catalan giants expires.

The 20-year-old is rumored to have already signed for Marcelo Bielsa’s side who are keen to bring in players from Spain, according to Marca.

Mujica joined Barcelona B in 2015 and has scored seven goals for the team this season, while Leeds could be playing Premier League football next season if they make it through the play-offs.
