The Atletico Madrid forward is expected to move to the Camp Nou
Philippe Coutinho’s agent, Andrea Bertolucci, says suggestions that Antoine Griezmann will replace the Brazilian at Barcelona are “untrue.”
Griezmann revealed on Tuesday that he will be leaving Atletico Madrid at the end of the season, and there is widespread speculation he will move to the Camp Nou.
A departure for Coutinho has been mooted as the Brazilian has failed to shine this season, but the former Liverpool star’s agent is having none of it.
“It’s untrue that Griezmann is going to replace Philippe at Barcelona,” he said.
”I don’t know why they are saying that. I don’t know about that and that’s why I don’t want to talk anymore, but it’s false.”

Even so, if Barcelona do end up forking out €120 million on Griezmann this summer there were surely have to be some major outgoings to fund the deal.
