He loves his team-mates
Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic made it clear that he believes Lionel Messi is the best player in football this week.
He made it clear that even though Luka Modric won the Ballon d’Or, Messi is still the all-around better player.
“With all due respect to other players who have won (things), we know there is a player who is different to the others and that is Leo Messi.”
“Sometimes there are circumstances like Luka Modric having an outstanding season and maybe people want to change things up a bit. But, with all the respect in the world towards Luka and the others, there’s a player who is different to everyone else - and that’s Leo Messi.”
