Reports have claimed he was scouted against Liverpool
Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been rumored to be interesting several large clubs around the world as of late.
The rumors of Koulibaly to Barcelona heated up this week with news that Ariedo Braida traveled to check out the Champions League match between Napoli and Liverpool primarily to get a closer look at Koulibaly.
The player’s agent Bruno Satin has now given his view on the latest speculation concerning the defender.
“I confirm the interest of Barca,” he said.
“I’m sure Barcelona are interested because on Wednesday I talked to Braida who was with me at the Sao Paolo.”

The initial reporting was done by Mundo Deportivo and the quotes from Bruno Satin seems to confirm the rumor that Barcelona are indeed quite interested in Koulibaly.
The defender would be a good addition to the club’s defensive core, but someone out of the centre-back core would have to leave in all likelihood to make the room.
