Luis Suarez ended Wednesday’s game against Tottenham with some knee pain. The forward will now have to be checked out to see if he can feature against Valencia on Sunday. The injury could be due to Suarez having played so much since the start of the season.

Barcelona scouts took in Napoli’s Champions League win over Liverpool on Wednesday, as they wanted to keep an eye on defender Kalidou Koulibaly. Ariedo Braida watched the match but knows the price may be a problem. Napoli want at least €65 million.

Adrien Rabiot has rejected another contract extension at Paris Saint-Germain. He was offered a salary of €9 million, but is holding out for more. PSG remain hopeful they can get him to agree an extension before his deal expires in June.

Guangzhou confirm they will pay 50 million euros for Paulinho | Marca

Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande have confirmed to Barcelona that they will pay the full €50 million for midfielder Paulinho. The Brazilian moved back to the club in the summer initially on a loan with a purchase option included in the deal.

Inter give up chase of Barcelona star | Calciomercato

Inter Milan have all but given up their attempts to land Rafinha from Barcelona. The Brazilian will push again for an exit when the transfer window reopens in January, as he is unhappy with his lack of play time. Inter will only renew their interest if they can loan him without an option to buy, or get a big discount on Barcelona’s asking price of €38 million.
