The striker is happy at Borussia Dortmund
Paco Alcacer has faced the press while on Spain duty and talked about why he decided to leave Barcelona over the summer.
The striker joined Borussia Dortmund on loan in August with an option to buy. Alcacer has proved to be an instant hit at the club with six goals in his first three league outings. He also scored in their Champions League win over Monaco.
The 25-year-old has been rewarded with a recall to the national side and admits he is very happy in Germany.
“I took the decision to leave and go elsewhere in order to find playing time and enjoy my profession,” Alcacer said.
“At Barcelona, it’s very difficult to have minutes with the quality of players that Barcelona has with Messi, Luis and Philippe.
”I’m very happy with the decision I made. From the first day I arrived, all the players in the team have helped me considering all the challenges one faces when going abroad and not speaking the language. I’ve adapted well.”

Alcacer will be hoping Luis Enrique gives him some time to shine for Spain in their games against Wales and England. The striker’s last appearance for the national team came in a friendly against Romania in March 2016.
