Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets was not too disappointed despite his side slipping to their first defeat of the season against Espanyol in the Copa del Rey.
The visitors head home beaten 1-0 in the first leg, but will hope they can turn the tie around in the second leg at Camp Nou.
Lionel Messi missed a penalty for Barcelona before Oscar Melendo scored the only goal of the game late on. But Busquets is not giving up hope just yet.
“We knew this day would come, we tried to delay it as much as possible but it couldn’t be today,” he said.
”The good thing is that we have the second leg to try to mount a comeback.
”It can’t affect us, it’s just another game.
”We are lucky to play the second leg at home, we will have to win whatever happens.”

Barca need only look to the last round of the competition for inspiration. A 1-1 draw away at Celta Vigo in the first leg was followed by a 5-0 win at Camp Nou.
