La Liga News: 27 July 2016: Zidane Comments On Pogba Move, Atletico Sign Argentine Keeper

One such player is Paul Pogba, who has reportedly been on the edge of a move to Manchester United, with Los Blancos' interest seemingly receding. "I don't know if [Pogba] will come but we have until August 31 to see what happens," the coach told reporters. "Everyone is interested in Pogba as he's a great player and you always want the best to come to Madrid. But he's not a Madrid player, he plays for Juventus and I can't say anything else."
Alaves have signed midfielder Nenad Krsticic on a two-year contract in preparation for their return to La Liga. The Serbia international was released by Sampdoria this summer after spending eight years at the club, which included a loan spell at Bologna last season.
Alexandre Pato is being given a chance to resurrect his career with beaten Europa League semi-finalists Villarreal. Corinthians have confirmed via the club's official website that negotiations are ongoing with the La Liga side. If a deal is struck though, the clubs have agreed to leave the fee undisclosed.
The Argentine club have confirmed that the 20-year-old has joined the La Liga giants ahead of the new domestic campaign but he will not travel to Spain until after the Olympics as he is part of Argentina's squad for the football tournament in Rio next month. It is thought the youngster will feature predominantly in Los Rojiblancos' reserve and youth sides initially from September before hopefully he will eventually challenge established first-choice keeper Jan Oblak at the Vicente Calderon.
Arsenal and Liverpool are set to fight it out over Jese Rodriguez, reports say. The Real Madrid star is keen to leave the Spanish capital after only starting seven matches in La Liga last season. And Zinedine Zidane has advised him to look elsewhere for first-team football, according to Marca.
Real Madrid have already rejected two offers for the player. The first of seven million euros and a further one of 10 million euros from Hebei China Fortune. Hebei have a number of former stars who previously played in Europe in their ranks, including Lavezzi, Gervinho and M'Bia.
