Ousmane Dembele is Liverpool’s Plan B
Today’s rumors start with news that Liverpool will turn to Ousmane Dembele if they miss out on top target Timo Werner.
Mundo Deportivo report that manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the French forward and wanted to sign him before he moved to Barcelona from Dortmund.
Quique Setien is said to like Dembele but he could be deemed surplus to requirements given Trincao and Pedri will add to Barca’s attacking options this summer.
Barca will go for Fabian if Pjanic doesn’t arrive
Sticking with MD who are also reporting that Barcelona will move for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz if they fail in their efforts to land Miralem Pjanic.
The Serie A side are said to be expecting offers from Barca and Real Madrid and want €60 million for the 24-year-old.
Barcelona have already been in touch about a move, while contact has stopped for now they will look to reignite their interest if the Pjanic deal falls through.
Arthur future still uncertain
Over at AS the word is that Arthur’s future at Barcelona remains uncertain despite the Brazilian making it crystal clear he really does not want to leave.
The report quotes a club source as saying “we are not ruling anything out. We’ll see what he thinks in the summer.”
AS reckon Arthur has a pretty cold relationship with Barcelona and report the club feel he’s “stuttered too many times to be a success.”
