Reports claim terms have been agreed
Barcelona’s Andre Gomes has been on loan at Everton this season, and has done a great job of impressing the Premier League. Sport is reporting that the Barcelona loanee is close to a deal to make him a permanent player for Tottenham Hotspur.
The report says that Spurs have already made it clear they’ll pay €30m to Barcelona for the midfielder in order to make the deal happen. This is the best case scenario for Barcelona that involves Gomes leaving the club.
After things didn’t work out with Gomes at Barcelona they thought about outright selling him. However, sending him off on loan and allowing him to prove himself has certainly bolstered his credibility and the fee that Barcelona can get for him.
