Barcelona captain Andres Iniesta paid tribute to match-winner Lionel Messi after he scored twice and set up Ousmane Dembele in the 3-0 win over Chelsea on Wednesday.
The win means Barcelona are into the quarter-finals of the Champions League and Iniesta was full of praise for his team-mate.
“We always talk about him [Messi]. He makes the difference every single game. It’s an absolute godsend that he’s here. I hope we can get close to winning the Champions League. We’ve taken another step,” he said,
“The thought of winning the Champions League is always a motivation, but it’s difficult. The challenge is minimising errors, because one bad game and you’re out. We’re in the right form to go on and win it.”

Iniesta also said he wants to avoid Real Madrid and Sevilla in Friday’s Champions League draw.
Barcelona are one of three Spanish teams left in the competition, but Iniesta is hoping to avoid playing against a Liga rival.
“Not the Spanish sides because we know each other too well,” he said.
”I’d prefer not to get one of them. It’s always a goal to win the Champions League, but it’s difficult. One bad match can put you out.”
