The bulk of the first team squad might be away on international duty this week, but training is continuing at the Ciutat Esportiva regardless. On Wednesday the players that aren’t off getting ready to play for their countries were joined by seven members of Barça B: Iñaki Peña, Jokin Ezkieta, Juan Miranda, Jorge Cuenca, Ballou Tabla, Abel Ruiz and Alex Collado.

Barcelona defender Pique was stopped by local police on Friday and a routine check revealed that he was driving without any points on his licence -- drivers in Spain start with 12 points and points are then deducted for any traffic offences.
