Tuesday’s papers will make interesting reading for Barcelona fans with the focus already very much on next season.
Diario Sport are thinking about Barca’s issues in attack and think Ansu Fati could be Xavi’s No. 9 in 2022-23 if the club do not manage to sign a striker.
The report reckons Xavi has requested a new attacker but knows the club’s tricky financial situation makes big-name signings very difficult
Barca have been linked with both Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski but transfers such as these “will be very difficult to carry out.”

And that’s where Ansu comes in, particularly as Xavi said he sees the teenager “more as a No. 9 than on the wing“ after he made his long-awaited return from injury against Real Mallorca.
Over at Mundo Deportivo the focus is on the defense with news that Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta want to join Barcelona in the summer.
Barca are already believed to have agreed a deal for Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen, but it seems two more of his team-mates could be joining him at the Camp Nou too.

The duo are both contracted to the Blues until 2023 but are hoping the Premier League side will let them leave early for a low price and head back to Spain.
Barca have long been rumored to be keen on a move for Azpilicueta and value the 32-year-old’s leadership skills and his versatility.
Alonso has also been linked with Barca regularly over recent seasons. One of the club’s priorities is to bring in a new left-back and the Chelsea man seems to be on the shortlist.
