Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde admitted he was “very angry” after seeing his team lose their unbeaten La Liga record at Levante on Sunday night.
The visitors were beaten 5-4 in a chaotic game which featured some fairly dreadful defending by the Spanish champions.
Valverde admitted he was angry after the game and said the game was won early in the second half when Levante scored three times in quick succession to go 5-1 up.
“I feel very angry but I have to look forward because what makes me angry isn’t going to give me solutions,” he said.
”It was a surprising game, because of the result and how it came about. [Levante] are in very good form, they are very effective, they started the game really well and caused us a lot of damage on the counter-attack.
”The game was determined at the start of the second half in those crazy 10 minutes. Normally, you’re able to control some of the counter-attacks. Today it was impossible -- every time they attacked, they scored.”

Sunday’s game was a real disappointment with the prospect of an unbeaten season tantalisingly close. The team now fly to South Africa for a friendly against South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns before finishing their season against Real Sociedad.
