How far out is that?
There are long shots and then there is what Dani Alves just did against Villanovense to put Barcelona into the lead in the Copa del Rey. The ever-dangerous full back got possession of the ball at least 40 yards away from goal and smashed a ridiculously optimistic shot that found its way into the net.

Good lord is that a strike and a half. Arguably the goalkeeper should have done better, but you can't fault Dani for that. It's a wonderfully struck shot and he deserved the end result.
